In a small town in the mountains, between community and moments of solitude, season after season, Harmony’s musicians take us on a musical and sound journey in search of harmony.

Tënk's opinion

This movie’s intention is to make viewers feel the intensity of human relationships by filming Pontarlier’s harmonic orchestra… and it’s what it manages to do in a powerful and musical way. Logically, this is a film to listen to, focusing on the sound of the rehearsals, the “3, 4” of the conductor, the silences in nature and the musical score, and, at the end, the closing music that’s progressive and bewitching. The men and women who play together also bring into play their individuality within the community. It’s fine if everyone’s in harmony, and it’s also fine if they’re a little off-key.
